The EC580 is one of the smallest masonry heaters available in the world today at only 270kg – remarkably compact for a masonry heater. Designed originally for small cottages, two-bedroom homes or smaller rooms where a larger masonry heater would be impractical, and the look of a more traditional stove is preferred.

With natural heat release from the silicon carbide body, the EC580 can heat a much larger area than a traditional metal stove while burning more cleanly and efficiently from as little as 5kg of logs – heating up to a 140m² property without radiators or electrical connections.

EC580 in Living Room

"I have had the 580 stove for ten years now. Its performance has just got better and better, especially with the change in the internal linings. The service is second to none. I don't know of another company that offers a yearly service on the burner. Best of all, its original selling point of the way in which the heat spreads around the house is all true. In addition you can sit close to it and not overheat, something you cannot do with a cast iron or steel stove."
